August 14, 2010 the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center held its 18 th annual Dinner and Auction at Pardini's.  

Attendees enjoyed wine tasting sponsored by Joey Sagaribelli of San Joaquin Wine Company

Silent Auction tables were overflowing.   The silent auction items and decorations were coordinated by Jackie Docken.  

Kopi Sotiropulos from Channel 26 was the Master of Ceremonies and   interviewed parents Anmarie and Ryan Schroeder.    The Schroeder's talked about their son's inattention, poor comprehension, and inarticulate speech prior to treatment at the Center.   They reported that after a year of treatment their son is at or near age/grade level.   "He is making friends and loving school" said his mother.   They expressed their gratitude to the Clinic for the care and services they have received.

During the Auction Mary Jane Kerber was thanked for her commitment to the Clinic.   Mary Jane's handcrafted egg delight attendees every year.

The Friends of the Center presented a $13,000 donation to Jim Wilson Board President.   and announced a $2000 sponsorship of the 2011 Fishing Derby.

To round out the   evening Kopi led the group in the taping of segment for his morning show.  

A great time was had raising support and celebrating the success of

    Fresno Scottish Rite Childhood Language Disorders Center.
